Instructions for your Appointment - Upon arrival at our testing location, please pull into a designated parking spot for COVID testing and a representative from the COVID team will come out to your car. Please do not exit your car and come into the facility. If someone does not greet you, please call the COVID Hotline - 530-317-7003.

Do I need a doctor’s permission to test?

No, anyone can access testing services by paying at the time of the test.

Is this COVID-19 test approved for travel?

Yes, our gold standard RT-PCR, NAAT test meets the CDC recommendations for travel testing. Learn more here.

Currently, StemExpress is not an approved Trusted Testing and Travel Partner with the State of Hawaii, but we are working to get added to the approved list.

StemExpress recommends that you contact your airline prior to travel to confirm that our RT-PCR, NAAT test will be accepted.

Does StemExpress take insurance?

No. We do not currently offer insurance billing, but we expect to in the near future. Please keep your receipt and confirmation email to submit to your insurance in the meantime.

Who can I contact if I didn't receive my results?

Please call 530-317-7003 if it has been more than 72 hours since your test (24 hours for STAT testing), and you did not receive your results by email.

Can StemExpress provide a note to return to work or school?

No, please contact your doctor’s office to get a note clearing you for return to work or school.

What is the age range of people who can be tested?

People ages 12 years and older can come to StemExpress for COVID-19 testing.
